Springs, Water & Watershed · मुहान तथा जलाधार संरक्षण
In the mid-hills most households still depend on springs, and thousands of them are drying. Restoring a spring means restoring the slope above it, so rain soaks into the ground instead of running off.
We map each spring-shed with the water user committee, dig recharge ponds and contour trenches, plant deep-rooted species and protect the recharge area from grazing. Discharge is measured every month so the community can see the change for themselves.
Restricted giving is welcome — tell us the ward and we will report back on it specifically.
