Organic farmers’ market opens in Sindhuli Bazaar
A weekly market run by four farmer cooperatives now sells certified organic vegetables direct to town customers.
Every Saturday, farmers from the Jaivik Krishi Abhiyan bring vegetables, fruit and grains to a covered market space provided by the municipality.
Prices are set by the cooperatives, and the first three markets sold out before midday.
